Caregivers are often the backbone of family and community health, yet they frequently carry their responsibilities alone. Through Care for Caregivers, we aim to reduce burnout, strengthen resilience, and restore balance—ensuring caregivers feel seen, supported, and empowered to continue their essential role within families and the broader community.
How We Care for You
The Care for Caregivers program is designed to support, uplift, and restore individuals who consistently care for others, yet often lack the time, space, and resources to care for themselves. Rooted in a holistic, whole-person approach, this program provides ongoing workshops and community-based events that inspire, encourage, and equip caregivers with practical tools to sustain their well-being. Using the six pillars of lifestyle medicine—nutrition, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep, social connection, and avoidance of harmful substances—we offer accessible, culturally responsive education and experiences that address both immediate needs and long-term health.
We host supportive community gatherings and wellness events that foster connection, reduce isolation, and create space for caregivers to be cared for. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, build relationships, and access resources that support both their personal well-being and their ability to care for others.
Additionally, we offer wellness retreats and workshops that include guided practices such as mindful movement, breathwork, and stress reduction techniques, along with education on nourishing foods, healthy routines, sustainable behavior change, and a well-deserved relaxing, enjoyable time!
